This was a fun little story that was a light read for those times when you're someplace like a waiting room. Other books by this author have so much more depth that I found myself a bit disappointed in it though. There was a lot of potential being wasted here, but I will still buy books from Ms. Miller. One good thing is that you don't need to have read the first book, Dragon Scales (although I did), to follow the storyline, but it was nice to see characters from the previous story make a brief appearance in this one.Product details

This was a short, but utterly lovely story. I had read the first one after a friend gifted me a copy after a pretty bad day, and I absolutely loved it. I was quite thrilled to see that it had a sequel coming out.
Overall this is not a very complicated story, but I loved every minute of it. I basically read the whole thing on the way back home on the train yesterday, so it isn’t a long read, but what it lacks in length it more than makes up for in characters and a sweet romance.
Don’t go into it expecting much in the way of sex, because this is more of a slow-burn that never gets much further than the first kiss, but I kinda love those type of romance stories so it worked great for me. This book never tries to be anything than what it is, but fully embraces the idea of a sweet fantasy romance that will lighten your day and make you sigh happily at the end. I fully recommend this, and the previous book, for when you need a quick pick-me-up.
Love Sasha L. Miller's story and this one does not disappoint. Lovely read.
Fairy Wings is about compassion rather than passion. The story is light, gentle, and SWEET as HELL. Did I mention sweet? It's sweet. This is short-form romance in a fantasy setting-- not erotica, mystery, or high fantasy. Readers who don't want sweet will be disappointed.
If you want an unconventional, sweet, M/M romance, well I'm a fan of Sasha miller generally, but this novella has an especially memorable plot. A gruff, older academic type rescues an inhumanly delicate boy. The characters are charming and the story is fresh. Don't ask for anything else, and you won't be disappointed.
